Amid Japan’s declining birthrate and increasing number of universities, this invited talk highlighted the qualitative and quantitative shifts in English language needs driven by the expanding Asian market. It introduced national-level efforts, JACET’s initiatives, and the presenter’s own practices in human resource development.
