I am an Associate Professor at Musashi University, with an MA in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and a PhD in Organizational Behavior from London Business School. My research delves into self-promotion, exploring the strategic times and reasons individuals highlight their abilities or accomplishments, and how these actions affect organizational dynamics. I particularly focus on the negative consequences for individuals who refrain from self-promotion, including detrimental effects on their self-perception and cognitive processes.

Additionally, I examine the intricate dynamics between CEO characteristics and top management team interactions, assessing their collective impact on organizational performance.
