My research focuses upon the politics of economic globalization. I am interested in understanding how and why political support/opposition for open economic policies is formed and maintained. Much of my recent research has examined how citizens conceptualize and form attitudes toward globalization. I am further interested in the political economy of international development and the political economy of inequality and redistribution. My research has been published in Foreign Policy Analysis, International Politics, Research and Politics, The Japanese Journal of Political Science, Politics and Policy, and Asian Politics and Policy.
